Beets and Blueberries for their awesome anti-oxidant power, coconut water for electrolytes and carbs (but you can make with plain water too), and almond butter to help absorb the fat soluble vitamins. So, here is the base recipe (for 2), but you can sub any berries for blueberries if you have them on hand.
1 cooked sml to medium beetroot (or raw if you are using a high speed blender like a Vitamix)
1 Cup frozen or fresh blueberries
1 small banana (we have ours without to reduce the fruit sugar content)
1 Cup unsweetened almond or other non dairy milk
1 Cup coconut water
1 inch fresh peeled ginger
1 tbsp almond butter
Blend (take a shot for instagram because the color is so picture perfect), then enjoy!
