At Runners’ Beans we like to train hard.

But, training hard, pushing ourselves to the limits and all that good stuff quotes are made of, requires a counter balance.

That counter balance, is RECOVERY.   Although less quote worthy than, TRAINING his well known older brother, recovery is actually when the magic happens.

You are NOT getting stronger or fitter during a run, you are actually breaking your body down. You get stronger and fitter when your body has the time and resources to repair and adapt to what you’ve just put it through.
